Pharmaceuticals

The stakes in the pharmaceutical sector are high and the challenges numerous.
While new treatments and pharmaceutical products are increasing, there are still many neglected diseases awaiting therapeutic solutions.
The primary objective of pharmaceutical companies is to discover a large number of effective medicines in ever shorter timescales. Production is often on a large scale.

So to help research, production and the optimisation of these treatments run smoothly, we offer a wide range of climatic equipment that perfectly meets the very demanding needs of pharmaceutical laboratories.

How is drug resistance tested?

In the pharmaceutical sector, climatic enclosures and chambers are an essential stage in the testing of any new product, molecule, etc. Long-term tests, fatigue tests, accelerated ageing studies... all these tests, also known as stability tests, rigorously follow the ICH standard guidelines (ICH Q1A and ICH Q1B) and make it possible to check the viability of treatments, their resistance over time and to define their expiry date. At the heart of our climatic chambers and enclosures, we simulate ambient temperatures generally ranging from 8°C to 25°C, but which can approach 50°C (depending on the destination of the medicines). Products can also be exposed to light and humidity. A real route to 100% reliability and safety!

How are drugs/molecules made viable?

At the end of the tests, the viability of a drug/molecule is certified when its active ingredient is at least 95%.
