1)       Check the refrigeration circuit: Evaporator and condenser

The two key components in the refrigeration circuit of your climatic chamber are the evaporator and the condenser.

Their role is to maintain a stable temperature inside the enclosure. Over time, these components can accumulate dust if they are not cleaned regularly. By keeping them clean, you optimise energy efficiency and ensure that your enclosure works at its best.

It is also advisable to regularly update the refrigeration circuit leak test to detect any refrigerant leaks. Leaks can reduce cooling efficiency and present an environmental risk

2)       Check the electrical relay: board and terminal blocks

Inside the speaker is a board with terminal blocks. The heat generated by the enclosure can cause the terminal block cables to expand and become loose. This change can lead to overheating and then a short-circuit. It is then necessary to inspect the board and tighten the terminal blocks to minimise the risk of fire.

3)       Clean the technical part: the heat exchanger and humidifier

The role of the heat exchanger is to transfer heat. Dirt can settle in and lead to a long-term drop in performance. To prevent energy loss, regular cleaning is recommended.

The humidifier regulates the humidity in the enclosure to faithfully reproduce the required environmental conditions.

Limescale deposits or other impurities can affect its operation. Removing stagnant water allows precise control of humidity and avoids malfunctions that could compromise the quality of climatic tests
